MACHINIST (2nd shift)
Responsible for set-up and operation of 240 manual boring mill. Sets-up and operates other machines as required. Trouble shoots and provides assistance to other team members as needed or required to meet departmental objectives. Provides preventative maintenance assistance as needed.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years experience on large manual boring mill machining large castings and steel elements.
Experience in machining operation of overhead cranes a big plus (up to 150 tons). Knowledge of current cutting tools and applications and ability to create process sheets for parts.
Experience in calculating tool feeds and speeds. Able to read and implement metric prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Ability to climb, crawl in and on large elements or other large parts on a regular basis.
Visual acuity to read machine gauges, indicators, blueprints, and precision measuring devices.
Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes and to take appropriate actions.
CNC MACHINIST - One position 1st shift, One postition 2nd shift
Responsible for set up and operation of Ingersoll Machining Centers. Sets-up and operates other machines as required. Troubleshoots and provides assistance to other team members as needed or required to meet departmental objectives. Provides preventative maintenance assistance as needed.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years experience on large, adjustable and fixed rail machines (3.75 meters between columns) utilizing CNC control systems Fanuc, AB, etc.
Ingersoll experience preferred.
Experience in machining large castings and steel weldments.
Knowledge of current cutting tools and applications.
Experience in calculating tool feeds and speeds.
Able to read and implement metric prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD T).
Capable of editing part programs.
Capable of creating simple programs.
Visual acuity to read machine gauges, indicators, blueprints, and precision measuring devices.
Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes and to take appropriate actions.
Not afraid of heights.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (2nd shift)
Performs installation, troubleshooting and emergency repair of CNC machine tools, forklift trucks, cranes and other critical plant equipment, conducts preventative maintenance on all plant equipment and vehicles.
EDUCATION
Two years college or related trade school education as Electrical Technician or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum five years industrial or production related repair and troubleshooting of electrical, CNC, DNC, and mechanical equipment.
Experience working independently in high-pressure environments.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, repair manuals and independently repairs machines or build repair parts.
Ability to test, set and or adjust controls for proper operation for CNC equipment.
In addition to electrical troubleshooting and repair skills, must have experience in three or more of the following areas:
welding, crane, air compressor, forklift maintenance, large motor troubleshooting, HVAC, or plumbing.
